BEST MAN'S SAMPLE SPEECH

If you didn't know already, please let me introduce myself. I am Harry, William’s best man and who knows what have I done to be bestowed with such an honour? Maybe all the rest of his associates have gone away on holiday. But how could I turn down this opportunity of a lifetime, Willy putting his hand in his pocket for once and buying me food and drinks all day long. Joking apart I am very proud to be part of such a fantastic day, where Willy has taken Kate’s hand in matrimony and scrounged more bloody presents!

I think you will all agree Willy is a very lucky man today wedding such a beautiful young lady in Kate. Besides the funny smells and strange noises that were emitting from him whilst we were standing at the altar, I know he is also a very proud man today. Yes Willy, I said man.... NO more of those boyish antics anymore....

(Funny story of William’s past exploits)

Anyway I now think I have done enough to embarrass 'Willy' and a few of us along the way. If I carry on with any more stories of the past, he may be sleeping on my sofa again tonight and that is not an option as I have to maintain tradition (eyeing up the bridesmaids).

Could everyone please raise their glasses in a toast to the beautiful couple wishing them all the success in their future together. William and Kate.
